Accessibility Statement

Plugger places great importance on providing equal service to the whole public, including people with disabilities, and works to make the site accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

The site was built with the aim of meeting the requirements of Israeli Standard IS 5568 Part 1 (September 2023 edition) for internet content accessibility, at level AA, based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines of the W3C. This is the standard the regulations refer to.

Accessibility adjustments made on the site

• Full support for right-to-left writing direction and the Hebrew language, and an English version with left-to-right direction.
• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page, for anyone navigating by keyboard or screen reader.
• Full keyboard navigation, with clear marking of the active element on every page and menu.
• A hierarchical heading structure (one main heading per page), marked navigation and content regions, and alternative descriptions for images and icons.
• Color contrast between text and background in accordance with the standard's requirements, plus an optional high-contrast mode.
• Forms with a clear label on every field, error messages in text (not color alone), and no time limit for filling them in.
• All animation on the site is decorative only and can be stopped with one click.
• Text can be enlarged up to 200 percent without loss of content or function, and the site is adapted to phone screens.

The accessibility menu

A button in the corner of the screen opens a menu with the following adjustments: text enlargement (two levels), high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, a readable font, wider text spacing, stopping animations, and an enlarged cursor. Your preferences are saved in your browser until reset. We want to say this plainly: the menu is a convenience, not a substitute. The site's accessibility rests on the code itself, as the regulations require, and the menu only adds to it.

How the site was tested

The site was tested with full keyboard navigation in Chrome and Edge, and with an automated WCAG 2.0 check using axe-core on the core pages (home, FAQ, contact, pricing, the guide, and this statement). Testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and a review by a certified accessibility examiner have not yet been carried out, and they are our next task. This statement will be updated as soon as they are.

Known limitations

• The site has not yet been reviewed by a certified accessibility examiner or tested with a screen reader, so there may be components that are not yet fully accessible. If you run into one, tell us and we will fix it.
• Song pages (smart links) contain content that artists upload themselves: covers, photos and text. The cover's alternative description is derived automatically from the song title, and additional photos artists upload do not yet have an alternative-description field of their own. For such content this is a statement of partial conformance, and that field is on our list.
• Email messages sent by the system and external files (such as audio files) are not covered by this statement.
